Iran offers expertise on energy production

STAFF REPORT LAHORE: Iran has said that it is willing to work in close collaboration with Pakistan for economic development of the region and will present its study on production of coal energy as a gift to the people of Punjab.Khorasan province Governor Dr Mahmoud Salahi, said this while speaking at the Pakistan-Iran Investment and Trade Business Forum.On the

occasion, as many as 60 government and private sector officials from Iran met with leading CEOs and government officials from Pakistan.Salahi said that Khorasan can help Punjab in producing electricity from water, coal, wind and solar options and expressed the hope that the industrial exchange programme between Punjab and Khorasan would help promote trade relations between them.
