Intel awards for teachers, administrators...(Volume 2,Issue 1)


STAFF REPORT ISLAMABAD: In order to recognise the outstanding performance of academic institutions and teachers, the Intel Pakistan and Ministry of Education conferred a number of awards to academicians during a ceremony held here last week.

According to details, five teachers are selected every year as winners of grand awards. These teachers use technology effectively to promote inquiry-based learning in the country.

The Intel Education Awards are held annually in Pakistan to promote technology integration by teachers and schools.

“Intel Pakistan is playing a vital role in education sector and the ministry would further strengthen its coordination with it to achieve better performance in future,” Education Secretary Athar Tahir said. He said that his ministry and Intel are promoting a competitive environment for teachers and academic institutions in the country.

The awards are aimed at motivating teachers and school administrations to enhance technology implementation.
