STAFF REPORT LAHORE: As education plays a pivotal role in nation building, Vice Chancellor Punjab University Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has urged the government to allocate at least four percent of GDP for educational advancement.
“The world is like a battle in which nations compete with each other to achieve dominance and supremacy. Countries having superiority in the field of education and research emerge as victorious,” said the VC while addressing the audience at the university’s 19th convocation here last week.
He said that education is at the back of rise and fall of nations.
