STAFF REPORT KARACHI: Pakistan would be able to generate 8,800 additional electricity by the year 2030 as the government has assigned the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) the nuclear power target .
“We are optimistic of achieving this very target within the stipulated period as all the requisite projects and plans are in place for this purpose,” said PAEC Chairman Dr. Ansar Parvez while addressing the 11th Convocation of the Karachi Institute of Power Engineering in the vicinity of Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (KANUPP) here last week.
