Punjab to install 9 solar energy tube-wells

STAFF REPORT LAHORE: As part of the Punjab government’s initiative to promote solar energy use in the province, as many as nine solar tubewells will be installed at selected government farms for the first time in the province under a pilot project.

“Solar energy is available for more than 300 days a year in Pakistan with 6-8 hours effective daylight,” Director General, (Water Management), Agriculture Department Punjab, Chaudhary Ashraf, told the media here last week.

He said that prior to the implementation of the project at large scale, a study will also be conducted simultaneously to assess the effects of solar radiation on solar array outputs and subsequent variation in pumpage at various location around the province.

Is there any way to install a Solar Power Queensland but what if you have a solar power so you will need also a generator to store the electricity because when its night time or have a typhoon how can you have a solar power for that electricity but If you are living in Queensland, there has never been a better time to convert your home’s conventional power supply into one that is run by solar power systems. Queensland is located in Australia’s tropical zone and is known to enjoy a great deal of sunshine all year round, which is why converting homes into environmentally-friendly, cost-efficient ones make perfect sense.
