Intel expands mobile computing




STAFF REPORT ISLAMABAD: The Intel Corporation has unfurled a number of advancements to its mobile portfolio across a broad spectrum of silicon, software and connectivity, including the sampling of Medfield, the companys 32nm phone chip.

“As the lines between computing and communications continue to blur, this mobile momentum builds on and complements Intels growing capabilities in mobility,” Naveed Siraj, Country Manager Intel Pakistan Corporation said while talking to media here last week.

He said that the Intel Pakistan is accelerating plans to become the processor architecture of choice across a variety of smart device and market segments in net books and laptops, cars, smart phones, tablets and smart TVs.

Naveed said that the mobile Internet, with all of its complexity, presents tremendous opportunity and growth prospects for the industry at large.
