Solar power most natural, sustainable form of energy



STAFF REPORT ISLAMABAD: ‘Solar power is the most natural and sustainable form of energy on the planet and hence its use in the daily lives can be the most viable, hence also for the purification of water it is the cheapest natural source with almost no cost’.

“The solar energy consists of numerous particles including the alpha, beta rays, cosmic rays, and other different types of radiations that could be beneficial for us in one form or another,” said Zafar Hameed of FALTECH at a seminar on ‘Importance of Household Water Treatment’ organized by SDPI.

He further said that the cheapest and quickest method without any effort if the use of solar rays for water purification.

Prof. Amir H. Malik of COMSATS, Humayun Iqbal Shami of Pakistan Economic Forum and Zafar Hameed of FALTECH were among the speakers of the seminar.
